The 18th IOF Advanced Training Course on Osteoporosis, taught in English by an internationally renowned faculty, provides a concise and practical overview of the latest knowledge on the physiology, epidemiology, diagnosis and management of osteoporosis. The two-and-a-half day course, held annually in Lyon since 1991, trains up to200 international participants. Organized by course leader Pierre D. Delmas, the course is aimed at medical professionals as well as participants from pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries. Discussion periods, roundtable discussions and meet-the-professor sessions are included throughout the program to encourage direct interactions between registered participants and faculty members.
The venue is centrally located in Lyon, one of France's largest and most interesting cities.
