22nd ECNP (European College of Neuropsychopharmacology) Congress

For each ECNP congress a Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) endeavours to compose a high level, well-balanced scientific programme taking into account the proposals submitted.
As ECNP would like to enlarge the focus of the clinical research track, future participants are encouraged to submit symposia proposals on clinical research in neurodevelopment, epidemiology, genetics and neuropsychology in addition to other clinical proposals. These proposals will help the SPC to provide the ECNP Congress with a high calibre, up-to-date scientific programme. Overall, the scientific programme will consist of plenary lectures, a limited (28) number of symposia, with breaking news sessions, educational update sessions, brainstorming sessions, and poster sessions.
Istanbul is Turkey's most populous city, and its cultural and financial centre. The city is on the Bosporus strait, and encompasses the natural harbour known as the Golden Horn, in the northwest of the country. It extends both on the European (Thrace) and on the Asian (Anatolia) side of the Bosporus, and is thereby the only metropolis in the world which is situated on two continents.
The venue of the congress is the Istanbul Convention & Exhibition Centre (ICEC). This centre is ideally located in the modern district of Harbiye, at the centre of the city's business, cultural and commercial life, close to top quality hotels.
