Heart Failure 2009
May 30 – June 02, 2009, Nice, France
The Heart Failure Congress 2009, will take place in the exceptional setting of Nice, France. Heart Failure 2009 will be held jointly with the Annual Congress of the European Section of the International Society for Heart Research.
Heart failure is one of the most challenging medical conditions both for basic research and clinical practice and this meeting will provide comprehensive state-of-the-art views on the major aspects of heart failure including the most recent advances in basic cardiovascular sciences, epidemiology, prognosis and medical/surgical management. Improved treatment of most cardiovascular diseases and increased longevity means we are seeing an exponential growth in the number of patients presenting with this syndrome.
The mission of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology (HFA of the ESC) is “to improve quality of life and longevity, through better prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, including the establishment of networks for its management, education and research”.
The annual congress is a flagship and is the platform that highlights all of the HFA activities. It gathers together all of the players working in the field of heart failure and provides the opportunity to share knowledge and expertise on an international level.
